Sanam murder case: Brother confesses killing sister for honour

Buner: The blind murder case of 19 years old Sanam Jan of Elai solved when real brother Gul Hussain confessed during interrogation in Daggar police two days physical custody.

The Daggar police investigation team was got two days custody from local court. The accused will be presented in the same court for recording his confessional statement on Monday (Today), investigation police confided.

The accused confessed before police he was shot his sister dead for honour at Mashwany Elai early morning on Tuesday.

He stated his sister was left home early morning for eloping with her brother in law namely Said Nawaz of Nowshehra. He added he along with wife Abida and maternal uncle Amirzeb chased her at Mashwani Elai and asked her to go back home but she refused to do so.

Rather she was adamant to elope with her brother in law because the family was already blamed them of having illicit relations, he quoted.

He continued that he had left with no option other than but to shot her dead and leave the body there under open sky. He continued he along with maternal uncle went to DHQ hospital Daggar for receiving her dead body when Daggar police shared picture of dead body via social media.

He argued her sister and brother in law were taken poisons sometimes ago and their lives were saved at DHQ hospital Daggar and police case was also registered against the said brother in law.

Police have charged all of them for their own character in the murder case and evidences are collected to book and bring all of them in the court of justice, investigation team.

It’s pertinent to mention here that Mohammad Hussain father of the killed lady was charged his son in law Said Nawaz for killing Sanam Jan but investigation team exposed whole the episode and the brother admitted.
