KABUL: Power distribution company Da Afghanistan Breshna Shirkat (DABS) on Tuesday warned defaulting individuals of legal action if they failed to clear their arrears within three days.
Waheedullah Tawhidi, DABS spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News that individuals defaulting on electricity bills would be referred to the Attorney General Office (AGO) and their names shared with media if they did not clear their dues within the deadline.
He said government institutions, private offices, jihadi leaders, parliamentarians, local commanders and common people were among bid defaulters. He said the list of defaulters was ready to be submitted to the AGO, but another three day deadline was offered to the defaulters.
He warned next Saturday the names of defaulters would be shared with the media and referred to the AGO. (Pajhwok)
