F.P. Report

PESHAWAR: Advisor to Prime Minister and provincial president PML-N Amir Muqam sent Rs 500 million defamation notices to each PTI Chairman Imran Khan and Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Pervez Khattak on Thursday.

The notices were sent through Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif asking Imran Khan and Pervez Khattak to withdraw their defamatory remarks and baseless allegations against him and tender unconditional apology within 14-day otherwise legal course of action would be initiated against them.

It was said in the notices that Imran Khan and Pervez Khattak through leveling false accusations against Amir Muqam during an interview to a private TV channel on August 3, 2017 tried to damage his political repute.

It is to mention here that in response to Ayesha Gulalai allegations, PTI chief Imran Khan alleged that Amir Muqam had bribed her while Pervez Khattak in his statement said that Amir Muqam bribed Ayesha Gulalai to defame PTI.
