Dengue outbreak: Death toll rises to 40 in Peshawar

PESHAWAR: Two more women succumbed to Dengue virus in Peshawar as the death toll rises to 40 from the dengue outbreak in the province.

Dengue Response Unit informed the media that two more women died of dengue fever and both the patients were residents of Safed Dheri area of Peshawar.

One of the patients was under treatment at Hayatabad Medical complex and the other was admitted at Khyber Teaching Hospital.
