DI Khan incident: Peshawar High Court hears petition

PESHAWAR: The Peshawar High Court on Tuesday starts hearing of the petition filed by a girl who was reportedly made walk naked in her village in D I Khan.

While talking to private news channel, head of the In Search of Justice organization said that the case has been brought to the Peshawar High Court with the aim to make sure that the justice to be provided to the survivor without any pressure from any quarter of the area.

Qazi Muhammad Anwar filed a petition in the PHC from the survivor of D I Khan.

The incident took place in Garamat village of D I Khan kast when a 16 years old girl was on way to home after fetching water when she cornered and the accused tore her clothes and made her walk the streets of the village because Sajawal harassed the girl as a revenge.
