Govt should seek army help to end Islamabad sit-in: Khursheed Shah

ISLAMABAD: Opposition Leader in the National Assembly (NA), Syed Khursheed Shah has said that the government should needs to seek the army assistance to end the religious parties continuous sit-in in Islamabad.

This he said while talking to media on Tuesday at National Assembly. He said that asking army help in any matter is constitutional right of the government.

He also emphasized on the negotiations and urged the religious parties and government to put aside their ego during the negotiations to end the problem as millions of people were facing problems because of the protest.

Regarding the Elections Act Amendment Bill, he added that efforts will be utilized to pass the amendment bill in the national assembly on Tuesday.

Shah added that how it is possible that a disqualified person can lead a party and bring positive results.
