Drugs recovered from vehicle

PESHAWAR: National Highways and Motorways Police (NH&MP) recovered drugs from a vehicle but the culprits fled leaving the vehicle by roadside in the provincial capital on Saturday.

Spokesman of NH&MP said that it signalled to stop a suspected vehicle near Tarnab Farm at GT Road in Peshawar. The culprits instead of stopping sped the scene. The NH&MP chased the fleeing culprits after which they fled the scene leaving the vehicle by roadside.

During search of vehicle, two kilograms of hashish and 500 of grams heroin concealed under the seat were recovered. The police impounded the vehicle and the recovered drugs and after registering a case have started the investigation.
