KABUL (Ariana News): The Economic Commission on Tuesday approved the installation of electronic scanners at 12 customs units at border crossings across the
country.

The meeting was chaired by Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs.

Commission members deliberated the economic blueprint for the project, presented by the Ministry of Urban Development and Housing. Following an assessment, the commission designated the ministry as the primary policymaker for the initiative. Surveying, designing, and overseeing the project will fall under the ministry’s purview, while implementation will be overseen by relevant ministries and agencies.
