ECP reserves decision in PTI foreign funding case

ISLAMABAD: Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), reserved its decision against the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) in case of foreign funding.

Chief Election Commissioner (CEC), Justice (Rtd) Sardar Raza Khan expressed annoyance over the failure of PTI in presenting the evidence regarding the fund and informed the PTI counsel that ECP will now announce its decision on its own.

The PTI counsel told ECP that according Islamabad High Court party’s funding details cannot be shared with other political parties, the CEC responded to him that first PTI needs to share the funding details with the ECP and then needs to worry about it.
