Eight Taliban fighters killed in AAF airstrikes in Uruzgan

URUZGAN: As many as eight Taliban fighters were killed in a airstrikes conducted by Afghan Air Force (AAF) on the Taliban hideouts in Uruzgan province of Afghanistan.

The local Afghan media reported that AAF carried out airstrikes Tarinkot city of the province.

Provincial Police Chief Abdul Qari Omari told local media tathat eigh Taliban fighters were killed and five others were injured in the airstrikes.

The anti-government armed militant groups including the Taliban insurgents have not commented regarding the report so far.
