PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Department and Emergency Operation Centre for Polio has sent a notification to the National Emergency Centre and asked to improve the polio vaccination campaign as the election process are affected polio campaign across the province.
In this regard a notification has been send to the National Emergency Centre and asked to tackle the matter with the election commission of Pakistan.
In the notification it was further said that in the by election and local government election as well in the coming general election 2018 it will effected the polio campaign and proper plane should be chalked out that the polio campaign may not affected.
The notification further added that while planning for by election it should be remind that it will not affected the polio campaign in the province. It is merit mention here that district dir polio campaign was suspended because of the election and many children were depriving of polio vaccination.
