Exercise for diabetic patients

ISLAMABAD: Exercise can help in maintaining the fitness and it becomes even so urgent for people suffering from several diseases. Almost 33 million people in Pakistan are suffering from diabetes. Regular exercise would prove helpful for reducing the lethal effects of diabetes. Below are mentioned few daily exercises that can be performed easily.

 

Walking

 

Walk for 30 minutes almost three to four times a day. Avoid using bike or car unless necessary.

 

Cycling

 

It is an easy method to remain fit. It will burn blood sugar and maintain your heart rate while also helping in reducing weight.

 

Weight Lifting

It will result in the movement of your muscles. This will also bring down the blood sugar.

 

Yoga

This will result in more stability in your body. The blood sugar will be in balance as a result.

 

Exercises will help maintaining the level of blood sugar of your body. You can also measure this level before and after exercise.
