Explosion kills at least eight in Afghanistan’s Jalalabad

JALALABAD (TOLO News): At least eight people were killed in the Afghan city of Jalalabad on Thursday.

The explosion also injured 15 other people in the city situated in Nangarhar province.

The attack, which targetted civilians at a public demonstration, is being reported as a suicide attack but officials have yet to give a confirmation, added the Afghan media outlet.

The demonstrators were protesting against insecurity in the province’s Khewa district.
