Fawad asks Nawaz Sharif to help defuse political temperature

F.P. Report

ISLAMABAD: Former federal minister Fawad Chaudhry has urged ex-prime minister and PML-N Quaid Nawaz Sharif to help defuse the political temperature in the country.

Taking informally to newsmen during his court appearance in Islamabad on Wednesday, Fawad stressed the need for dialogue among political parties.

Meanwhile,  a local court in Islamabad sent Fawad Chaudhry to jail on 14-day judicial remand.

After completion of one-day physical remand, Fawad was produced in the court of Judicial Magistrate Yasir Mehmood in connection with a fraud case registered at Aabpara police station.

During the proceedings, Fawad took the plea that the complainant of the case did not appear before the court as yet.

The case is before the court and the court has carefully examined it, he stated.
