Federal Cabinet meets today

ISLAMABAD: The federal cabinet’s emergency meeting, which was scheduled to be held today has been postponed till Wednesday even-ing.

According to sources, the emergency cabinet meeting will review the US administration’s South Asia policy including Monday’s statement by President Trump in detail.

The cabinet will also ponder over national security and other affairs of the state.

Earlier on Monday evening, Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi had summoned the emergency cabinet meeting on Tuesday soon after Trump’s angry tweets related to Pakistan.
