10 injured including policemen as gunmen attack DIG office in Loralai

QUETTA: At least 10, including eight policemen were injured on Tuesday after unidentified gunmen attacked the office of Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of police in Loralai.

According to police sources, four unidentified gunmen entered the office of DIG Loralai and opened fire. Police added that two of the four attackers were killed in retaliatory police fire.

Contingents of police and other security forces were called to the site of the incident and the area was cordoned off.

The injured have been shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.

LORALAI: At least five people were reportedly injured in a firing incident at DIG Office in Loralai on Tuesday.

According to local news channel report, a blast followed the firing which left five people injured, the TV quoted police as saying.

Police reinforcement has been called in after the incident in Loralai which the Division Headquarter of Zhob Division in Balochistan’s northeast.
