Five ISIS militants killed in US airstrikes in Nangarhar

NANGARHAR: As many as five gunmen of Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) group were killed in airstrikes conducted by US forces in Nangarhar province of Afghanistan in the past 24 hours.

The Nangarhar officials said that some heavy and light weapons belonging to the terror group have also been destroyed during the airstrikes.

The official confirmed that the US forces carried out airstrikes using unmanned aerial vehicles in Haska Mina district on Thursday.
