Five Takiban killed, three injured in Wardak clashes between Taliban, security forces

WARDAK: At least five Taliban fighters including a local commander were killed and three other were injured in a operation in Nerkh district of Wardak province.

A spokesman of Provincial Police Chief, Najib Amin has said the operation was started when the Taliban fighters attacked the security check posts in Nerkh district.

Though, he did not provide further details about the operation and clashes between Taliban and security forces.

The Taliban have not yet commented.
