Security forces seizes camel laden with 1260 kgs of Hashish in Logar

KABUL: Afghan security forces have recovered more than 1,260 kilograms of Hashish in central Logar province of Afghanistan.

As per the local security officials, the smugglers were trying to smuggle hashish loaded on five camels to unknown place.

General Abdul Raziq, Commander of the 4th Brigade told media persons that five camels were carrying the narcotics drugs and they were stopped by the foreign forces as they were conducting a surveillance of the area.

General Raziq said that the hashish was masterly placed inside the bags so that no one can recognize it and they can easily smuggle it and adding that the narcotics suppose to be loaded in Nangarhar province and they were trying to smuggle it southern province.

It is yet not clear if any suspect was arrested in connection to the smuggling of the Hashish or not.
