Five Taliban fighters killed, four injured in clashes

KABUL: As many as five Taliban fighters were killed and four other were injured in clashes with the Afghan security forces in Wardak province on Wednesday, the provincial officials confirmed on Thursday morning.

Spokesman for the provincial governor, Naqibullah Amini, told local media that the clashes took place in Check district of the Wardak province in which five Taliban fighters were killed and four others were injured in clashes.

The Taliban group has not yet commented on either of the attacks.
