FO rejects Gen Nicholson’s Statement regarding Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Foreign Office Spokesman Nafees Zakaria has said that the recent statements of US Commander in Afghanistan, General John John Nicholson regarding Pakistan was acceptable and unnecessary.

Nafees Zakaria said this while addressing to brief briefing to the recent issues and the Pakistan foreign relations and he also informed that a conference will be held under the PM Shahid Khaqan Abbasi which will be started from September 5 to 7.

Zakaria added that Pakistan always condemns terrorist incidents in neighboring countries but we will not allowed anyone to fought Afghanistan war in Pakistan and how can be it possible.

In the current scenario Pakistan foreign policy are facing several challenges, he added.

Regarding the General Nicholas comments about Pakistan, Zakaria said that Pakistan rejected his comment and termed it as baseless allegations and unnecessary against Pakistan.
