PESHAWAR: A notification has been issued by Directorate General of KP food safety and Halaal Food authority here on Wednesday stating that the authority has been operational from 21st march.
The notification reads that all the other departments including Health, tourism, food and district administration has now nothing to do with food safety and Halaal food measures but only the price check can be maintained by the district administration. Notification further reads that all the seven divisional district offices including Bannu, DI Khan, Mardan, Abbottabad, Kohat, Swat, Peshawar will be operational right from the issue of this notification.
The notification copies have already been sent to concern offices for immediate actions.
