KANDAHAR (Agencies): A group of 15 foreign tourists has recently visited historical sites of the country’s southern province of Kandahar, the provincial Information and Culture Department said in a statement Wednesday.
“After the resumption of power by IEA the number of foreign and domestic tourists visiting the province has eye-catchingly increased,” the statement quoted Director of Information and Culture Inamullah Samangani as saying.
The main purpose of officials of the provincial Information and Culture are the provision of the tourists with necessary touristic facilities and safe environment.
Countrywide sure security has caused thousands of foreign tourists to visit from historical sites and monuments across the country in the past weeks.
