Four civilian killed, 42 others injured in rocket attack in Faryab

FARYAB: As many as four civilians were killed after a rocket landed in a Bazar in Faryab province on Tuesday morning.

The local officials confirmed that 42 others were injured in the rocket attack.

District Governor, Abdullah Masoumi told that the rocket was fired by the Taliban and instead of hitting the district council building it hit the Bazar.

He added that Tuesday is Bazar day and dozens of people from surrounding villages had been there to do their shopping.

So far no group including the Taliban has claimed responsibility for the attack.
