BAZARAK (BNA): During a visit to Panjshir province, a French businessman named Raphael expressed his interest in investing in the local mining sector. This interest was conveyed in a meeting with Hafiz Mohammad Agha Hakim, the governor of Panjshir. Raphael showed particular interest in participating in the auction of Panjshir’s emerald sales.
Raphael views the current security situation in Afghanistan as a favorable environment for investment. He believes that the present circumstances present a golden opportunity for both domestic and international investors.
In response to Raphael’s interest, the governor of Panjshir assured full cooperation with all investors, both domestic and foreign. He expressed support for Raphael’s decision and welcomed his initiative in contributing to the local economy through investment in the mining sector.
