Germany seeks to end Turkey’s EU membership talks

BERLIN: German Chancellor Angela Merkel has said European Union needs to end the talks with Turkey for its membership in EU as the tensions were high between the Berlin and Istanbul.

She said this while talking during a televised debate with his rival in elections later this month. She added she will talk with the others leaders of the Europe to end these membership talks and adding that she not seeing that Turkey will become a member of EU.

 

Angela Merkel strict statement was came when Turkey arrested two more German citizens last week on political reasons which infuriating Berlin.
