KABUL (TOLO News): President Ghani has left for Germany to attend the 56th Munich Security Conference, the Presidential Palace said on Thursday.
At the conference, Ghani plans to meet with the heads of delegations from participant countries to discuss peace, security and issues related to Afghanistan.
“Pressing global challenges will be a focal point, above all the effects of climate change, but also the intersections of trade and technological progress with international security,” according to the organizer.
More than 500 high-level international decision-makers, including over 35 heads of state, as well as around100 foreign and defense ministers, are expected at the conference.
These leaders from the fields of politics, business, academia, and civil society are expected to discuss current crises and future security challenges.
