Govt appoints Arif Usmani President NBP

ISLAMABAD: The federal government has appointed Arif Usmani president of the National Bank of Pakistan, said a notification on Tuesday.

According to an official notification, the appointment has been made under the section 11 (3)(a) of the Banks (Nationalisation) Act, 1974.

The notification said that Usmani has been made President of the NBP for three years with immediate Effect.
