Govt wants to minimize judiciary, institutions power: Sheikh Rasheed

ISLAMABAD: Chief of Awami Muslim League (AML), Sheikh Rasheed has claimed that the government wants to make changes to the judiciary and department to take advantage from the majority that they holds in the national assembly.

This he claimed while talking to local media on Friday. He said that central government has no idea what are doing and adding that he feels pity for the mental state of the government.

Sheikh Rasheed added that nation needs to remain alert as several political developments are likely to be take place during the month of October.

The AML chief had earlier challenged the Elections Bill 2017 in the Supreme Court (SC) on grounds that the changes made to the bill were to accommodate a disqualified person.
