Jalil Afridi

WASHINGTON DC : US State Department Spokesperson Matthew Miller while replying to a question by The Frontier Post about the alleged role of the US officials in overthrowing former Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan; said that “I should hold a sign saying this allegation is not true and that the US has no favorite political candidate in Pakistan.”

When asked if the Centcom Chief, General Michael Kurilla went to Pakistan to soothe relations after the alleged Donald Lu Cypher, Miller said that the said question should be put to Pentagon. Miller did acknowledge that the State Department was aware of Michaels’s visit to Pakistan and that he has no information about any defence funding provided to Pakistan since the US withdrawal from Afghanistan.

The Frontier Post also asked that Former Prime Minister of Pakistan, former Foreign Minister of Pakistan have acknowledge the reality of Cypher and after Pakistan’s National Security Committee meeting, US officials was given demarche in Pakistan and the US, so somebody in the US whether the President, Joe Biden or Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken has to take responsibility for all this.

It was in response to this question that Miller said that he has been asked this same question so many times that he needs to hold a sign saying that US had no role in over throwing Imran Khan democratically elected government.
