PESHAWAR: Pakistan Army’s Ibrahim Mohib once again achieved great success and won the champion trophy of Aitchison National Squash Championship.
Under-13, 17 and 19 category competitions were held in the Achison National Squash Championship played at Achison College Lahore, in which 120 players from all over the country participated fully. Reached the final, while in the final he faced Ibrahim Zeib of PAF, in the final Ibrahim Mohib defeated 3-1.
In the first set, Ibrahim Mohib won, in the second set his opponent had the advantage, after which Ibrahim Mohib was successful in the third and fourth sets.
Their score was 11-7, 7-11, 12-10, 11-8. The minutes lasted for 40 minutes. In the U-13 final, Sohail Adnan defeated Punjab’s Syed Muhammad Hussain (Echisan).
In U-19, Abdullah Nadeem won the trophy by defeating Kaleemullah of Punjab by 3-0. On the occasion of the final, Aitchison College Lahore Principal Michael A. Thomas and Prima Malik MD Hamish Khan gave trophies and cash prizes to the players who took prominent positions.
While talking to the media, Ibrahim Mohib expressed his determination that his efforts are continuing to move forward in squash, God willing, he will give Pakistan a positive identity in the world like his grandfather World Champion Mohibullah Khan and Jan Sher Khan.
He thanked Director Pakistan Army Sports, Secretary Army Squash Major Salman and MD PSO Syed Mohammad Taha for their cooperation and Army Squash Coach Asif Khan and Coach Adil Khan who worked hard with him.
