PESHAWAR: Pakistan’s teq ball team has left for Thailand to participate in the World teq Ball Championship to be held from November 29 to December 4, 2023.
Jalaluddin to lead the team as captain, other players included Hidayat-ur-Rehman and Shal Akbar reserve one.
Akhtar Rasool as manager and Abu Bakkar is accompanying team as coach. Teq ball game founder in Pakistan Mian Absar Ali, and Teq ball federation executive member from Sindh Nawaz Gazdar also accompanying the team.
Pakistan team will play in singles and doubles events, more than one hundred countries from all over the world would compete in the championship, an official of Pakistan Teq ball federation said.
He said it was first time that an Asian country is hosting the world event. Meanwhile, Senior Vice President Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Teq ball Association, Zia Ul Haq, has lauded the squad and said that soon after the world championship, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa teq ball championship will organize provincial championship.
Rahat Mian, Chairman of Pakistan Tagball Federation said that Pakistan Tagball Federation will soon launch training camps and coaching courses across the country.
Teqball was declared as fastest growing sports of the World four years back, and still considered the fastest growing sports at World level. Pakistan Teqball Federation and Teqball circles in Pakistan adopted same pattern and worked hard to develop and promote the game all over the country, which yielding results in all province, particularly in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
