KABUL (Agencies): Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs, Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi in a meeting with a group of restaurant representatives in Kabul city, said that the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan welcomes and supports all investments in the country. According to a statement released by the Prime Minister’s office, Allah Dad Yazdani, the owner of Qasr Suleiman Wedding Hall, Seyed Abdul Halim, the manager of Barg Continental Restaurant, and Haji Sakhidad Rahimi, the owner of Bokhara Restaurant, shared their views on behalf of other entrepreneurs. They talked about the significant growth of the hospitality industry in the country and said restaurants, especially in Kabul, have played a good role in highlighting the authentic culture of the country for foreign visitors and have provided quality services and employment for hundreds of citizens of the country. Representatives from Kabul’s hotel industry have urged the Islamic Emirate’s leadership to support the industry and enable them to deliver even better services to the local population. The Deputy Prime Minister, for his part, thanked the private sector, specifically the hospitality industry, for delivering quality services to the country’s population and for their role in creating work opportunities. The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan welcomes all investments in the country and will make every effort to assist investors within the means available, according to the Deputy Prime Minister.
