ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) admitted petitions of contempt of court against the former prime minister Nawaz Sharif here on Monday.
The petitioners claimed that Nawaz Sharif committed contempt of court during his speech in Lahore on August 25. Nawaz Sharif lashed out judiciary in his speech while addressing to Lawyers convention in Aiwan-e-Iqbal and accused the judiciary of misusing the power.
Nawaz Sharif in his speech said that Judiciary allowing the dictators to rule the country and disqualifying the democratic elected government and also allowing to dictators to change the constitutions.
