ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has submitted documents to Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) in foreign funding case on Monday.
The case was being heard by a five-member ECP bench under the chair of Chief Election Commissioner Justice (retd) Sardar Raza Khan.
Saqlain Haider, counsel of the PTI submitted the details of the party’s funding in ECP and he also demanded from the ECP to give a receipt of receiving the submission of documents.
Sardar Raza Khan refused to provide any such receipt and adding that it was PTI responsibility to submit its documents.
The hearing was then adjourned until October 16.
The ECP had given warning to the PTI to submit their funding detail until September 18.
