Javed Hashmi likely to rejoin PML-N in next week

F.P. Report

ISLAMABAD: Senior politician Makhdoom Javed Hashmi is expected to rejoin Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).

The private news channel reported that former federal minister has taken the decision to rejoin the ruling PML-N and he also invited Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz to Multan.

Nawaz and his daughter Maryam are expected to visit Hashmi’s residence on December 27 or 28.

Hashmi, a veteran politician from Multan, had left PML-N after years-long association and joined the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in 2011. However, he later disassociated himself from the PTI following the party’s prolonged protest sit-in against the PML-N government in 2014.

As per the report, Javed Hashmi will announce his rejoining PML-N in the presence of Nawaz Sharif.

Meanwhile, Begum Kulsoom Nawaz has also welcomed Hashmi’s decision to return in the party and adding that Javed Hashmi is like my brother and I am happy he came back to his own home.
