Journalist’s brother kidnapped

LANDI KOTAL: Brother of local media person was abducted by unknown armed persons here at bypass road of Tehsil Landi Kotal last day.

The family sources said on Thursday that previous day, Shaukat Hussain elder brother of tribal journalist, Ali Shinwari, working as reporter for Dunya TV was on his way to home with his minor son from his warehouse in Landi Kotal Bazaar when undisclosed armed persons intercepted his vehicle, kidnapped him on gunpoint and shifted him to unknown destination. Case was lodged in the office of Assistant Political Agent, Landi Kotal office against unknown kidnappers. According to the relatives of the abductee they had no enmity with any one and so far no one had claimed responsibility for the abduction.
