JUI-F holds rally against seminary students killing

LANDI KOTAL: Jamiat Ullema-e-Islam Fazal Rehman (JUI-F), Landi Kotal chapter organized a protest demonstration on Thursday in Landi Kotal Bazaar against killing of seminary students in airstrike in Dasht-e-Archi in Kunduz province of Afghanistan.

The protest rally was initiated at Bacha chowk that was attended by number of the party workers, tribal elites and dwellers of the area. The protesters were carrying banner and placards inscribed with slogans to flay killing of innocent madrassa (seminary) students in Afghanistan province of Kandus.

Addressing to the angry mob JUI-F General Sectary FATA, Mufti Ijaz,Haji Said Anwar Mehsud, senior leader of JUI-F Muhammad Umar Banuri and others categorically condemned the inhuman act of the Afghan military supported by Allied force bombed a convocation gathering in  the religious seminary that caused killing of reportedly more than 50 civilians including children and injured 150 more others. “America portrays herself as champion of peacemaker but in real she is the pioneer of all terror in the world”, they remarked. The speakers also criticized the human rights supporter organizations for their role silent role and said it turned blinds eyes towards the genocide of the Muslim that was discriminatory behavior to them.

They stressed upon the incumbent government to immediately halt NATO supply to Afghanistan through its territory and expel US envoy of the country. The protesters marched to Landi Kotal press club where it dispersed peacefully after offering prayers for the solidarity of the Muslim Ummah.
