Kareena Kapoor Khan to start shooting of Karan Johar’s Takht this yea

MUMBAI: Kareena Kapoor Khan’s next outing will be in Karan Johar’s Takht, a multi-starrer featuring Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Vicky Kaushal, Anil Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar and Janhvi Kapoor. The actress recently shared that the movie, which is set in the Mughal era, reportedly a tale of two warring brothers, will start filming this year in December.

She also said that she’s excited to work with him Karan Johar after Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. The duo is reuniting for a film after 18 years. The actress had earlier revealed that the film is different from the usual and she’s not done a period film like this before. She will go through preparations to work on her dialect, looks etc.

Kareena has had a busy year. She’s making her television debut this year as a judge in a dance show. Recently, she headed for a quick vacation in London with Saif Ali Khan and son Taimur Ali Khan. She’s expected to start filming for Angrezi Medium, the sequel to Hindi Medium, opposite Irrfan in London soon. The actress has revealed that she will be flying back and forth between Mumbai and London for the TV show and the movie’s filming.
