KOLKATA: Indian skipper Virat Kohli has scored a century in second innings of Test against Sri Lanka at Kolkata on Tuesday and equaled the record of South African batsman Hashim Amla of scoring fastest 50 international centuries.
Both Kohli and Amla have achieved the record in 348 International matches. With this innings Kohli also broke the record of Sachin Tendulkar for consuming 376 matches to register the same number of international centuries.
Virat Kohli has made 18 Test and 32 one-day international (ODI) centuries.
