KP athletic trials for on March 9

PESHAWAR: President Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Athletic Association Habib Ur Rehman Afridi Wednesday said that to select Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Men and Women teams for the forthcoming Inter-Provincial Games will be held on March 9, 2018 here at Qayyum Sports Complex.

Habib Ur Rehman said that all arrangement for the smooth conduct of the trials have been made well in time. Players from all across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, both male and female, will be coming to Peshawar to participate in the trials. In this connection, he said, a selection committee headed former international athlete Muhammad Iqbal Shinwari, with other members comprising Muhammad Iqbal, Fayyaz Gul, Asif Gul, Inam Aamir, Zahid Shah, Ghulam Noorani, Khurshid Khan. The athletes have been advised to report to Muhammad Iqbal Shinwari on March 9 at 9.30 a.m and bring their original CNIC, Domicile, Forum-B, two passport size photos so that to ascertain their age before short-listing them for the final teams. He said soon after the trials a short duration of the camp for both male and female will be organized.
