Lack of discipline visible in Sindh: CJP Saqib Nisar

KARACHI: Chief Justice of Pakistan, Mian Saqib Nisar has said that after arriving in Karachi on Friday, he has realized that Sindh is lacking of discipline.

This he said while hearing a case at Karachi’s registry on a application over using the Ladies Club Larkana for commercial purposes on Friday. CJ Saqib Nisar added that he may to shift to Karachi for six months to hear all the pending cases.

The court was informed by Advocate general Sindh that the total land area of Larkana’s Jinnah Garden is 20,000 square yards and the Ladies Club is established at 3,000 square yards. He said that the National Health Centre, Press Club and government schools are located in the Jinnah Garden.

He added that the municipal committee of the city has given shops for rent and it had the authority to give allotment.

CJP Saqib Nisar remarked that parks are public property and no one can construct anything on it and directed the advocate general to restore the parks in their original state.
