Laws for ministries sent to IE leader for approval

KABUL (TOLOnews): The Islamic Emirate says that the laws of several ministries have been reviewed and sent to the leader of the Islamic Emirate for approval. The spokesman of the Islamic Emirate, Zabihullah Mujahid, told TOLOnews that the laws of the Ministries of Justice, Foreign Affairs and Vice and Virtue have also been finalized.
According to Zabihullah Mujahid, the laws have been revised in accordance with Islamic Sharia and national interests.
“If the law is against the Islamic Sharia it should be revised and designed positively. And the laws which are also against the national interest of the people should also be revised and all the national interests and necessities of the public should be considered in the laws,” he added.
Meanwhile, a number of legal experts emphasized the importance of laws in the country and asked for the confirmation of laws of the country as soon as possible.
“I think there will be no problem but it’s good that the Islamic Emirate reviews the laws of the ministries. And in general the constitution as the central law is important to coordinate the administrations between each other and address the challenges of the people,” said Mohammad Zaman Muzamil, a legal expert.
After it took power in 2021, the Islamic Emirate said it does not consider the 1382 constitution to be effective and announced work on a new constitution in the country.
