Lawyers damage new judicial complex in Multan

MULTAN: The lawyers protested against shifting the judicial complex and in a protest damaged the new building.

The lawyers were protesting outside the judicial complex and later they decided to reach the newly constructed building and they reached there in buses, which are located on Matital Road Multan and the lawyers started to damage the building by broking the windows and doors of the new judicial complex.

Lawyers said on the occasion that they will not accept the decision of shifting the judicial complex and claimed that the new building does not have sufficient facilities.

After the incident police has been deployed outside the complex to halt any other protest.

Multan’s Sessions and District courts were shifted after the inauguration of the new complex on November 15. The new judicial complex had been constructed at Matital Road due to blockage of traffic at Katchehry Chowk (where the old complex was located).
