ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court hearing the Hudaibya Papers Mills case adjourned to Friday because of unavailability of one member of the bench on Wednesday.
As per details, the Rs 1.2 billion Hudaibya Paper Mills case against the Sharif was initiated by NAB in 2000 but it was canceled by the Lahore High Court (LHC) in 2014.
The Bureau pleaded the Supreme Court to order investigation in the case and cancel the LHC decision in this regard. The three-member SC bench, headed by Justice Mushir Alam and comprising justices Qazi Faez Isa and Mazhar Alam Miankhel, had to resume hearing the NAB reference against the Sharif family today (Wednesday).
However, the hearing was adjourned till Friday due to unavailability of Mazhar Alam Miankhel.
