NANGARHAR: As many as fourteen militants of Islamic State (IS) or known as Daesh were killed in an airstrike conducted by US forces in eastern Nangarhar province of Afghanistan.
The provincial government informed that media persons that US forces conducted airstrike in Achin district of Nangarhar province and targeted the IS hideouts in the area in which two senior leader of the terrorist group were killed.
The two ISIS leaders killed in the raid have been identified as Asadullah Orakzai and Shakirullah Kunari.
However, armed militant groups including the ISIS militants have not commented regarding the report so far.
