HERAT (BNA): A group of 30 tourists from Malaysia recently visited Herat province to explore its historical and natural attractions. Mawlavi Ahmadullah Muttaqi, the director of the Information and Culture Department of Herat province, assured the visitors that there are no security concerns for foreign tourists. Muttaqi emphasized that the Islamic Emirate is committed to facilitating everything within its capabilities for
the people.
He noted that improvements in security and the presence of significant tourist attractions have led to an increase in foreign tourists visiting Herat.
During their trip, the Malaysian tourists visited landmarks such as the Qala-e-Ekhtiyaruddin and various minarets, among other attractions.
According to figures, more than 700 foreign tourists have traveled to Herat in the current year, a significant increase from the previous year when only 300 tourists visited.
