KABUL (Agencies): On the occasion of World Health Day, the Ministry of Public Health has emphasized the need for creating new health systems, improving nutrition, capacity building of health and immunization personnel, and provision of equipment for treatment and diagnosis.
The Ministry acknowledged that these are critical areas that need to be addressed to provide quality health services to the people of Afghanistan.
The ministry also highlighted its current efforts in collaboration with the international community to address these issues, including the establishment of new healthcare centers in rural and remote regions of the country, which were previously deprived of healthcare services for decades.
Additionally, the ministry aims to open more health centers in remote areas with the help of international partners.
The message from the Ministry of Public Health underlines the importance of addressing the pressing health needs of Afghanistan’s population and the commitment of the government and international community to provide quality healthcare services to all Afghans.
