ISLAMABAD: Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal has said that mobile telecommunication companies are not paying Rs 400 billion per year taxes to Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).
Javed Iqbal said this in a meeting with FBR officials here in Islamabad. He stressed on the tax collection and adding that we need to improve the tax collection system of FBR to encourage the foreign investment in the country.
He added that it is very unfortunate that mobile phone companies are not paying Rs 400 billion due taxes to the FBR and it is responsibility of FBR to collect them that money.
