Mobile phone services suspended in Karachi

KARACHI: Mobile phone services were suspended in parts of the Karachi as part of the security arrangements to ensure the safety and security of the masses on the 8th Muharram processions.

As per reports, the provincial government has requested the center to suspend the mobile phone service in Karachi on Friday from 10am to 10pm particularly in the areas near the routes of processions.

The internet services were also reported to have been disrupted in some areas of Karachi. The people were facing problems because of suspension of mobile and service in the area causes problems to the residents of the area.
